Lisa Cope is a native Californian and long-time tennis player who loves the sport and all it has given her throughout her life. After growing up in San Diego playing in the junior USTA tournament leagues, she went on to play college tennis and win a NCAA Div III National Championship. After a career in book publishing and a stint at ABC News in New York, she moved to the Bay Area where she has been a writer and editor for multiple publications and now works as a full-time writer for Stanford University. She is committed to helping make all sports safer but has a special interest in the tennis community where she sees #WeRideTogether can make a huge impact.
