Michaela Callie worked as a professional hunter/jumper rider and trainer before shifting her focus to inclusive leadership, socially responsible enterprise, and nonprofits. Michaela strives to continuously advocate for social justice in all sports. She believes in empowering every member of athletic communities with prevention education and best practices, as well as ensuring that survivors and their loved ones have access to survivor- and trauma- informed resources that can support them in their unique healing journey. Beyond athletics, Michaela brings her experience as a senior researcher at Sterling-Rice Group (SRG) to #WeRideTogether. SRG, a global creative consultancy headquartered in Boulder, CO, allowed Michaela to work closely with many organizations ranging from young start-ups, to food boards, to Fortune 500 companies. During these collaborations, Michaela uncovered brand, product, and experience opportunities through various exploration and validation methodologies. With her roots in Colorado, Michaela enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors whenever she has a chance.
